Seminaristas - Seminarians

Los seminaristas de nuestra diócesis participaron en la misa del Papa en Ciudad Juárez junto to miles de peregrinos.  No los olvidemos en nuestras oraciones.

The seminarians from our Diocese of El Paso attended the Papal Mass at Ciudad Juárez along with thousands of pilgrims.  Let us never forget them in our prayers.

Retiro de Open Arms - Open Arms Retret

RETIRO: “NO TENGAS MIEDO” es el tema para la Conferencia de Espíritu Santo anual del 11-12 Marzo en el Centro Alas, en el 501 East Paisano.  Invitados especiales: el Padre Bob Hogan, co-fundador de los Hermanos de los Discípulos Amados, una orden religiosa Carismática y Mariana basada en San Antonio, Texas.  La Hermana Linda Koontz, de Sagrado Nombre de Jesús y María, fundadora del Misión Internacional del Espíritu del Señor, El Paso.  El Padre Bob es un sacerdote dinámico que ha hecho misiones por todo estados unidos y Canadá.  La Hermana Linda es una religiosa, con un don al hablar, también conocida por su trabajo con los pobres de Cd. Juarez, proveyendo educación y construyendo casas.  La música será proveída por ZION.  La Conferencia tiene una donación de $20.00 para entrar.  Los boletos están en venta en Holy Spirit Bookstore, Madonna Shop, y Open Arms Community. REATREAT: “BE NOT AFRAID” is the theme for the annual Holy Spirit Conference March 11-12 at Las Alas Center, 501 East Paisano.  Featured speakers: Father Bob Hogan, co-founder of the Brothers of the Beloved Disciple, a Charismatic and Marian religious order based in San Antonio, Texas; and Sister Linda Koontz, of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, founder of the Spirit of the Lord International Mission, El Paso. Fr. Bob is a dynamic preacher who speaks at missions and conferences throughout the USA and Canada. Sister Linda, a gifted speaker, is also known for her work with the poorest of the poor in Juarez, providing education and building houses. Music ministry by ZION. Retiro para Padres - Parent Retreat

Atención Padres y Padrinos de los Candidatos de Primera Comunión y Confirmación, habrá un retiro para padres y padrinos el fin de Semana de 4-5 de Marzo en el Montana Vista Hall localizado en el 14697 Greg Dr.  El horario para el viernes será de las 6:00pm a las 9:00pm y el sábado de las 8:00am a las 8:30pm.  Para mas información llamen a la oficina parroquial al 855-2217.

Attention Parents and Sponsors of the Confirmation and First Communion candidates, there will be a parent retreat for parents and sponsors on the weekend of March 4-5 at the Montana Vista Hall, located at 14697 Greg Dr.  The schedule for Friday will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 8:30pm.  For more information please call the parish office at 855-2217.

Reconciliación - Reconciliation

Our lenten general confessions will take place on Thursday, March 3 at 6:00pm.  Several priests will be present to hear your confession.  Everyone is welcomed.

Progreso 2016 - Progress 2016

Hoy es el día en el que El Señor Obispo Mark Seitz y su parroquia le han pedido su apoyo para Progreso 2016.  Nuestro pasaje de las Santas Escrituras es: “Bienaventurados los misericordiosos, porque ellos alcanzarán misericordia.” Mateo 5:7, este pasaje de las Escrituras nos llama a poner la misericordia de Dios a trabajar para mostrar compasión a los demás.  Una forma de hacerlo es apoyando el trabajo de los ministerios diocesanos a través de la Campaña de Progreso.  Recuerde que Dios pide que su donativo sea generoso.  Por favor, haga su oración y compromiso financiero esta semana.  Nuestra meta parroquial es de $22,633 y el 100% de su participación es crucial para ayudarnos a llegar a nuestra meta.  Tomen el tiempo para recoger un sobre y hacer su compromiso con devoción. Invitamos a todos a que participen en la Campaña Anual de Progreso con su oración y donativo.  Por favor, haga su compromiso hoy y gracias por apoyar a su diócesis y parroquia.

Today is the day Bishop Seitz and your parish asks your support with Progress 2016.  Our scripture passage is “Blessed are the Merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7, this passage calls us to put God’s mercy to work by showing compassion to others.  One way to do this is to support the work of the Diocesan ministries through the Progress Appeal.  Please pray and make your financial commitment this week.  Our goal for the parish is of $22,633 and 100% of your participation is essential to help us reach our goal.  Please take some time to prayerfully discern your commitment.  We invite everyone to participate in the Progress Annual Appeal through prayer and the gift of Progress.  Please make your commitment today.  Thank you for your supporting your Diocese and parish.

Ambiente Seguro - Safe Environment

Atención a Todos los Ministerios y sus Voluntarios: El Taller de Ambiente Seguro comienza de nuevo en las siguientes fechas: 5 de MARZO de las 10:00am a la 1:00pm en Español ; 12 de MARZO de las 10:00am a la 1:00pm en Inglés. Pedimos una donación de $6, y las sesiones son limitadas a 40 personas por sesión y se necesita un Mínimo de 9 personas o se cancela. Horario durante la Visita del Papa - Church Schedule during the Pope's Visit

Misa Semanal: Debido a la visita del Papa Francisco, se suspenderá, solo por estos días la misa de la tarde.  No habrá misa del 16 de Febrero al 18 y comenzaremos de nuevo el 19.  Gracias y disculpe la inconveniencia. También la oficina y la parroquia estarán cerradas el 17 de febrero, para que todos puedan ver este evento desde sus hogares.

Weekday Mass: Due to the visit of Pope Francis, weekday mass, will be suspended for the next few days.  There will be no mass from February 16 to the 18 and we will renew again on the 19.  Thank you for your time and sorry for the inconvenience.  Also, the office and church will be closed on the 17 of February so everyone can go home and enjoy this event.

Hemos notado que la misa de las 10am se está llenando mucho y hay gente de pie.  Estamos considerando comenzar una misa los Sábados a las 6:30pm para aliviar esta situación.  Estén atentos para cuando se de el aviso definitivo de la misa.

We have noticed that the 10am Mass is overcrowded.  We are considering having a Mass on Saturdays at 6:30pm.  Please be on the outlook for further notices.

Boletos para a Misa Papal en Juárez - Tickets for the Papal Mass in Juárez

Visita Papal: Como han de saber, se anunciaron que todas las parroquias recibirán un numero limitado boletos para la misa de su Santidad en Cd. Juárez, si gusta entrar a la rifa  de esos boletos, necesitara llenar el papel para la rifa con los siguientes datos; Nombre, Teléfono y Numero de Pasaporte o Tarjeta Residencial. Para todos los demás, esta es la información para el Sun Bowl si esta interesado en ir al evento en UTEP.  Tenemos algunos en Venta en la Oficina Parroquial, por tiempo Limitado.  Esta es la información que tenemos sobre ese evento: Sun Bowl abrirá sus puertas a las 12:00pm, el programa musical comenzara a la 1:30pm y la misa de su Santidad comenzara a las 4:00pm y será transmitida, NO habrá misa o servicio de comunión, esto es solo un evento comunitario para ver la misa.  El evento terminaran a las 6:00pm.  Este es el Código de descuento FRANCIS (Escrito de esta manera).  Los boletos están a $15 pero con el código serian $10.  Los boletos tienen que comprarse en las taquillas de UTEP en persona o por teléfono.  Ticketmaster no aceptara este código.  Cada boleto tendrá un asiento asignado, cuando compre boletos serán por secuencia así que compre suficientes para que todos se sienten en la misma área. Todos los boletos incluyen una cuota de $3 de UTEP, si compra los boletos serán $10 con código mas aparte $3 en un total de $13.  Si los compra por medio de Ticketmaster, habrá cargos adicionales y aparte los $3 que en total serian $3+$15+costo adicional = a mas de $18 dolares. LOS BOLETOS NO INCLUYEN ESTACIONAMIENTO RESERVADO.  Esto significa que el primero en llegar, primero que ser servido. Papal Visit: As you may know, it was announced that there would be a limited amount of tickets for the Mass in Cd. Juarez.  If you are interested in participating in the raffle for  those tickets, you need to fill out the raffle ticket paper with the following information; Name, Phone Number and Passport or Resident Card Number.  For all those who are interested in the Sun Bowl, here is the information for the event at UTEP.  We have some in the Parish Office for a limited time. This is the information for the event: The Sun Bowl will open its gates at 12:00pm, the musical program will commence at 1:30pm and the Mass of Pope Francis will be shown at 4:00pm, there is NO mass or a communion service, this is only a community-viewing event.  The event will conclude at 6:00pm. This is the discount Code FRANCIS (as is).  The tickets are $15, but with the code they will be $10.  You have to buy the tickets at the UTEP box offices or by phone.  Ticketmaster will not accept this code.  Each ticket sold will be an assigned seat; all tickets will be in sequential order, buy enough so that everyone can be seated in the same are.  All tickets will have a $3 from UTEP; if you buy the tickets they will be $10 with the code, plus a $3 fee for a total of $13.  If you buy them through Ticketmaster there will be additional costs, plus the $3 fee that in total would be $3+$15+additional cost=more than $18.
