Día del Padre - Father's Day

Día del Padre: Queremos felicitar a todos los padres de la comunidad hoy por se el Día del Padre. Esperamos que siempre sigan el ejemplo de San José, y demuestren su amor, compasión y sabiduría con sus hijos y esposas. ¡Feliz Día del Padre!

Happy Father’s Day: We would like to congratulate all the Fathers in the community today on Father’s Day. We hope that they will always follow the example of Saint Joseph, that they show their love, compassion and wisdom with their children and spouses. Happy Father’s Day!

BAPTISMS - BAUTISMOS

Must register 1 month in advance. Baptisms are every second Saturday of the month at 11:00am in English. Prebaptismal talks are on the last Saturday of the month - inquire at the parish office. There are no Prebaptismal talks in July and December.

Hay que inscribirse 1 mes antes. Los bautismos en Español se llevan a cabo el segundo sábado del mes a las 10:00am. Las pláticas prebautismales se ofrecen el último sábado del mes - favor de informarse en la oficina parroquial. No se dan pláticas ni en Julio ni en Diciembre.

Tampoco la persona encargada es sacerdote Católico Romano o monje Franciscano en la Iglesia Católica Romana. Ningún bautismo, confirmación, primera comunión o matrimonio celebrado ahí es válido. Oración por las Vocaciones

Señor Jesús, que sientes compasión al ver la multitud y quieres que no falten hombres y mujeres de fe, que consagren sus vidas al servicio del evangelio y al cuidado de la Iglesia. Haz que tu Espíritu Santo ilumine los corazones y fortalezca las voluntades de aquellos que son llamados, para que, escuchando tu voz, lleguen a ser los Sacerdotes y Diáconos, Religiosos, Religiosas y Consagrados que tu Pueblo necesita. La cosecha es abundante y los obreros pocos. Envía, Señor, obreros a tu mies. Te lo pedimos por laintercesión de Nuestra Madre la Virgen de Guadalupe.

Prayer for Vocations

Gracious and loving God under the inspiration of Our Lady of Guadalupe raise up men and women of our parish to the call to serve in the Diocese of El Paso. Our needs are great and our people thirst for your presence. Open the hearts of many, raise up faithful servants of the Gospel, dedicated, holy priests, sisters, brothers and deacons, who will spend themselves for your people and their needs. Bless those who are serving now with courage and perseverance. Grant that many will be inspired by their example and faith to serve in the ministerial priesthood, consecrated life, and lay ministry. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
